As the meeting host, there are some steps you’ll need to take to familiarize yourself with these changes and ensure that your attendees can join your upcoming meetings seamlessly.
You’ll notice on Zoom.Us that the settings have been enabled by default and cannot be changed.
As you can see, the password can be changed by clicking on the pen next to the password. In the current circumstances, we think it is a good idea to change the password periodically.
Please update your Unified Classroom page(s) (LS and US) or communication to families (CECE) to include the password. Notice that there’s no need to change the Zoom ID link. LS HR teachers, please add the specialists passwords to the list of Zoom IDs on your main page.
Please update the Leman Faculty Zoom ID Database document. Please be careful when managing this document. Do not delete or move anything.
When the student/caregiver wants to join a Zoom session, they’ll be prompted to enter the password. After that, they’ll be taken into the Waiting Room.
Please do not publish your ZoomID and/or password in social media, blogs or include it in email signatures. Safety is everyone’s responsibility!
