Battery Not Charging

If the battery is not charging and is stuck at 1% please try these troubleshooting steps; 

Plug the charger into the charging port and shutdown the Chromebook 

Press and hold ESC + refresh + power till the screen blinks black. 

On the recovery screen that prompts you to insert a flash drive containing OS, press and hold refresh + power while simultaneously unplugging the charger. 

Hold down the power button for 2 seconds. 

 Plug the charger into the charging port. 

 Hit the power button once, Chromebook will turn on(start booting up). Log in to see if you can see a status on the battery icon, if not try again from step 1.
