Sites is another platform that a wide range of users will find helpful. If you're looking to build your own website or teach students how to build their own website, Google Sites is easy to use and can generate a very professional-looking site quickly.
Unlike other Google Apps, your site won't show any changes you make unless you hit the "publish" button.
You can easily link in other Google apps, such as Docs or Slides, but you'll need to make sure the permissions are set up accordingly.
Sites is a great platform for Student Portfolios; there's even a ready-made template for them or you can easily create your own template and share with students.
