A web-based drawing tool that allows you to create and edit drawings, diagrams, and charts.
The best part about Google Drawings is that users as young as 2nd grade can use it independently, but it also has some advanced functionality that makes it a great alternative to more sophisticated software (such as Adobe Illustrator). If you're an Adobe user, you'll notice that some of the keyboard shortcuts (for example: option+click to duplicate) are the same in Drawings.
You can create a new drawing by clicking the + New button in your Google Drive, then going down to "more" and clicking "Google Drawings."
You can add in shapes and images easily, or you can use the polyline tool to draw your own shapes.
Any diagrams or drawings that you create can be added directly into Google Docs and Google Slides - either unlinked or linked, which is great for letting you make changes to the drawing without having to re-add in your image.
Control+click to get more options for editing or grouping an image or to change the background of your drawing.
